1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of grndwrk, including our websites, dashboard, campaign tools, voter data tools, volunteer tools, donation workflows, and related services. By using grndwrk, you agree to these Terms.
If you use grndwrk on behalf of a campaign, committee, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and political compliance
grndwrk is built for lawful civic, campaign, and political organizing. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with all federal, state, and local laws, including election, campaign finance, privacy, communications, and recordkeeping rules.
- You may not use grndwrk if you are prohibited from doing so by applicable law.
- You must provide accurate campaign, committee, and account information.
- You remain responsible for filing obligations, disclaimers, contribution limits, and reporting decisions.
3. Accounts, roles, and access
3.1 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3.2 Team permissions
Campaign administrators control invitations, roles, and permissions for their campaign teams. Users must only access information and tools that they are authorized to use.
4. Campaign data and voter data
Campaigns and authorized users may submit, upload, or generate data in grndwrk. You retain responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and permissions associated with that data.
grndwrk may provide access to voter registration data from public records and authorized sources. You agree to use voter data only for lawful campaign, civic, or political purposes and in accordance with applicable data source restrictions.

5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse grndwrk. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Using grndwrk for unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation, suppression, or deception.
- Attempting to access accounts, campaigns, data, systems, or APIs without authorization.
- Uploading malicious code or interfering with the availability, integrity, or security of the service.
- Exporting, reselling, or redistributing voter data except as permitted by law and your campaign access.
6. Payments and donations
Paid services, if any, are subject to the pricing, billing, and subscription terms presented at purchase. Donation processing may be provided through third-party payment processors. Campaigns are responsible for complying with applicable campaign finance laws, including collection and reporting of donor information.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. By using grndwrk, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy and agree to handle personal information in a lawful and privacy-respecting manner.
8. Service availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of grndwrk as the platform evolves. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
grndwrk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, grndwrk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
